The February housing market in Charlotte saw strong growth in selling prices. The typical house (median sales price) sold for $385,000, up 8.5% from last year. The average sales price was even higher at $466,804, a jump of 11% year-over-year. There were slightly fewer homes sold overall (closed sales), but the rising prices indicate a seller’s market.
